The management team at ETFx has been a pioneer in the sustainability sector of indexing since 2000 by launching the Sustainability Performance Index Notes (“SPINS”), in 2004 the launching of the PowerShares WilderHill Clean Energy Portfolio (AMEX: “PBW”) and in 2005 the Palisades Water Indices that now trade in the AMEX with ticker symbols PIO and PHO. These indices now have over USD$2.5 billion tracking them (as of June 30,2008) and also trade in London, Frankfurt, Paris and Milan. Over all, the indices that ETFx’s management has been instrumental in bringing to the market place have over USD$4.5 billion tracking them (as of June 30, 2008). ETFx is a pioneer in the sustainability sector.
